I would like to see some of the landscape & scenery where all of my friends call home.

Due to the recession, I will be unable to take a vacation this year so, I am asking my friends here on dA to take me on a virtual photo vacation to see the sights of your town...:D

I would like to ask my friends to send me 3 to 5 of your best photo's showing me what you would want someone to see that has never been to your home town, the landmarks that make it famous, your landscapes that are unbelievable, Sky Scapes & Water Scapes, Mountains, City Scapes, stuff like that.

I know most of my friends here are very creative & not just with photography & art work, so please help me take this virtual vacation as I think this will be fun for all & if I can get enough participation I will make this a news feature, as I feel this is a very neat idea for some of us, who because of our economy, will not be able to take a vacation this year.

And no I am not asking for donations so I can take a vacation...LOL :nod: just your participation, that's all, Thank You, :heart: ~James

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story, I cried through the whole thing and am still wiping away the tears. This goes to show you, there truly are wonderful people in this world, and obviously, the parents of these young men have done a wonderful job! :happycry:

I'd actually seen it before - a year ago or so - but I posted it again also on another board I'm a member of, and emailed it to most people - not the automated places - in my address book... It's an amazing story, and it feels true. Kids sometimes can be like that, given the chance! :heart:
